About Dr. Sockin

Steven M. Sockin, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.  

Dr. Sockin graduated as Valedictorian from Columbia College, Columbia University and went on to graduate from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his medical residency at NYU Medical Center. Afterwards, he went on to be a Research Fellow in Medicine at Harvard University. He completed his Allergy & Immunology Fellowship at the Harvard Affiliate Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, with a Fellowship affiliation with Boston Children's Hospital. 

Dr. Sockin has proudly provided high quality adult and pediatric allergy & immunology care for the past 30 years in Rockland. His areas of expertise include asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, nasal allergy, hives, and hay fever.
